Fiat FreakOut (FFO)

July 9th – 13th 2025

Welcome to the 42nd Fiat FreakOut.  It’s been 42 years since the first FFO, and we’ve been celebrating our passion for all things FIAT, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, and all Italian marques ever since.  FFO is the national convention of Fiat Club America and is a five-day event that includes a concours car show, coordinated scenic drives, and lots of socializing. FFO is not just about the car show, it is a great opportunity to interact with knowledgeable people and sponsor vendors about your vehicle.

Weeknights are less expensive and weekend nights more expensive, but the 5-night average is $177 plus fees and local taxes per night (example Tower Jr Suite, weeknight $149, Friday $209, Sat $229). Wisconsin Dells is the waterpark capital of the Midwest and peak season resorts command higher weekend rates.

Registered hotel guests are entitled to:

  • Complimentary waterpark admission and outdoor pool during stay.
  • Free daily parking for car and trailer.

Smoking: No Smoking

Service Animals: Allowed

Pets: Allowed with extra fee – Ask hotel for details.

Our goal is to ensure those who register for FreakOut have access to hotel rooms we reserved. To help manage this, we are asking members to register for the event at the same time as you book your hotel room. The longer you wait to book your room reservations, the higher the chances are that the hotel rooms will be fully booked. We have had this issue in the past.

FFO Attendees will enjoy exclusively dedicated club parking at the host hotel, including trailer parking.  Hotel Reservations must be made by June 8th, 2025, at the latest.

COVID: The club hosts COVID-safe events and we will be following all current Federal and local guidance at FFO25, should there be any. There are no event refunds at any time for any reason. This is necessary as the Club makes financial commitments to the hotel and others based on actual registrations – you pay us, we pay them. The only exception to this is if the event is cancelled due to the government telling us we cannot hold it due to COVID. We will refund 100% of all registrations in this case.

We expect our hotel will sell out well ahead of our event date so please register sooner rather than later.

The instructions at the very end of this form tell you to click the PayPal button, this will take you to a screen for all payment types including major credit and debit cards (You are NOT required to sign up for a PayPal account. Pay Pal is just being used to process your credit card payments).

Before you register:

Your Fiat Club America membership must be current through 7/13/25. If you are an OTP (pay every year) member, please visit fiatclubamerica.com to check your membership status before registering (A benefit of being an RP (auto renew) is that you do not need to check status as RP members are automatically current).

Dells Raceway Park

Located in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, Dells Raceway is a well-known car racing track with a rich history. Opened in 1958, it was originally known as Dells Motor Speedway. The track is a 1/3-mile asphalt oval with 9-degree banking in the corners and 6-degree banking on the straights. DRP hosts a variety of racing events, including the ARCA Midwest Tour, the Mid-American Stock Car Series, and the Alive for Five Series.  The track is known for its exciting races and has been described as “what a short track should be”.

Attendees will get to visit the track and its features and drive their own cars on the track for a limited time. The amount of time will depend on number of preregistered entries. This is not a race, but a chance to drive your car on a banked racetrack in a spirited manner. Only one car on the track at a time is allowed.  We are allowed 2 hours on the rack track.  Single registrations with multiple registered vehicles will allow a second vehicle or driver if time permits. Everyone registered for this event is guaranteed at least one session. This event is limited to the first 50 registered members.

  • Register up to 6 six cars total. The Base Ticket includes 1 show car. Second car is $35, each additional car is $25 up to six cars total. The Club relies on your car model description to be complete in order to place your car in the right concorso class. For example, do not indicate that your show car is a “Fiat 500” if it is in fact Fiat 500C cabrio or a Fiat 500 Abarth. We want to make sure your car is in the right class. Please help us get this right.

What is the big deal about a Wisconsin Supper Club?  Wisconsin supper clubs are family-owned, independently operated restaurants which serves comfort food in a cozy, nostalgic setting.

Supper clubs have a long history in Wisconsin, and many are steeped in nostalgia. Some supper clubs have stories of misfortune, serendipity, and mischievous ghosts.

There’s no exact definition of what makes a supper club, but some common elements include:

  • Family-owned and operated
  • Located in a rural area
  • Only open for supper
  • Limited seating
  • Fixed menu
  • Warm ambiance

Back at the Hotel Friday evening, enjoy the parking lot and movie

Option #2 House on The Rock or Cave of the Mounds:

WI Unique Venue Driving Tours: Drive time one way: 1.5hr – Tours listed below are guided to the general area and then split off to either below location. Return on your own:

Cave of the Mounds – (1hr): a natural limestone cave located near Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, United States, is named for two nearby hills called the Blue Mounds. It is located in the southern slope of the east hill. The cave’s beauty comes from its many varieties of mineral formations called speleothems. The Chicago Academy of Sciences considers the Cave of the Mounds to be “the significant cave of the upper Midwest” because of its beauty, and it is promoted as the “jewel box” of major American caves. In 1987, the United States Department of the Interior and the National Park Service designated the cave as a National Natural Landmark.

House on the Rock –(3hrs): For over 60 years, House on the Rock has been a majestic work in progress. It began in 1945, when a man named Alex Jordan had a towering goal: to build a man-made retreat as awe-inspiring as the view from the rock upon which the house would eventually be built.  From that spark of imagination, the House on the Rock has evolved to include displays and collections of the exotic, the unusual and the amazing that can be viewed as three separate tours
