This years event, already known as the Loony Tour, is centered in the NH Lakes Region with our home base at the Windrifter Resort in Wolfeboro; the oldest summer resort in America. Tour Basics
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1st - Our tour begins Thursday, with a meet and greet/drivers meeting at the resort. An afternoon drive from Wolfeboro, through Alton Bay at the eastern most tip of Lake Winnipesaukee following the shore into Meredith for dinner. Dinner will be at Hart's Turkey Farm Restaurant. hartsturkeyfarm.com Hart's is a must for anyone visiting the lakes region. The restaurant has been locally owned and operated by the Hart family since 1954. We've reserved a private room and we'll order off the menu with separate checks.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2nd - Friday our tour takes us along the northwestern banks of Winnipesaukee with a stop in Melvin Village to visit a private car collection. A car collection we've driven by many times over the years but it's never been open! So, we're excited to have the opportunity to visit and bring you along. Following the car collection our tour continues toward Moultonborough and Center Harbor to visit the Old Country Store nhcountrystore.com and stop for lunch at The Taphouse Winnipesaukee. thetaphouse.net We've reserved a private room on the second floor of The Taphouse with large windows providing beautiful views of Lake Winnipesaukee. We'll order off the menu with separate checks.
After lunch, we're on the road again heading toward Castle in the Clouds. castleintheclouds.org Our plan is to drive through the Castle in the Clouds front gate and up the historic road leading to the main parking area. At the top we'll stop at Cafe in the Clouds. If you would like to break off from the group, you can extend your time at Castle in the Clouds and purchase admission to the Lucknow Mansion or enjoy the hiking trails. The remainder of the group will travel to the back bay of downtown Wolfeboro where we will visit a second private car collection! Dinner Friday is on your own. There are many restaurants in Wolfeboro, Friday is your opportunity to choose one special to you. The resort provides a list of options and we'll let you know our favorites too.


SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3rd - Saturday's drive includes a boat cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee on board the M/S Mt. Washington. cruisenh.com You'll enjoy beautiful lake views, a narrated tour about the history of the region and local folklore. A buffet lunch is also provided on board. Salad, Roasted Turkey with Gravy, Pot Roast, Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herbed Stuffing, Mac & Cheese, Traditional Bread Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce, Coffee, Tea, Water, Apple Cider & Iced Tea. The M/S Mt. Washington cruise and lunch buffet are included in the Alfa, FIAT, NH Lakes Region Tour, per person registration fee. Parking fees at Weirs Beach are not. There is a parking lot reserved for Mount Washington passengers for $10 cash. There are also metered parking spots at the dock.
Saturday afternoon is our Loony Tour Gimmick Rally. Following the M/S Mt. Washington cruise and buffet lunch we will line up and send cars out in one minute intervals. We've created a fun low-key Q&A gimmick rally. The route is designed to take you through the beautiful NH lakes region on fun twisty turning back roads.
Dinner will be at the Windrifter Resort in their rustic converted barn. We're planning a pizza party, Pizza, Salad, Dessert... The buffet is included in the Alfa, FIAT, NH Lakes Region Tour, per person registration fee.
