Highlights Day One Thursday: Waterford to Syracuse
We begin our tour at the Waterford Harbor Visitor Center featuring beautiful views of the Erie Canal, Hudson River and lock E-2. The visitor center is the eastern most stop along the Erie Canal National Heritage Corridor where the Erie Canal meets the Hudson River and the world.
Our tour will take us through Vischer Rotterdam Junction, Cranesville, Vischer Ferry Park and General Store, Rotterdam Junction Enlarged Lock 25 old #9. We’ll have a drive by view of Cranesville Lock 10 and stop by Schoharie Crossings State Park Aqueduct and Glen and Florida Fort Hunter Historic land mark.
In Little Falls we’ll visit Little Falls Canal Place and Lift Bridge and stop for Lunch.
Please note, all meals except Friday night are pay on your own.
After lunch we’ll continue to Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum. Our drive will conclude in Syracuse. We have a dinner reservation for the group and a guest speaker.

Highlights Day Two Friday: Syracuse to Brockport
Today we make our way to Brockport via the Phoenix, Lock Island Park drawbridge and dam, Port Byron Old Erie Canal Heritage Park, Richmond Aqueduct Ruins in Montezuma, Lock E27 in Lyons and the Fairport Liftbridge. We’ll stop for lunch in Fairport at Donnelly's Public House.
After lunch it’s off to Sam Patch Cruises for a 2 hour boat ride along the canal that will take us through Lock 32. The fee for your boat cruise is covered in the registration fee. We have a catered buffet dinner planned at Clutch On The Canal. The fee for dinner is covered in the registration fee. Drinks will be at your own expense.

Day Three Saturday: Brockport to Tonawanda
We’re still waiting on a few details to round out our Saturday activities but here’s what we know today. We’ll drive by the Knowlesville Liftbridge and drive under the Erie Canal via the Erie Culvert Tunnel in Medina. In Lockport we’ll see the Flight of Five Locks & Museum before ending our tour of the Erie Canal at Gateway Harbor Park in Tonawanda the Western start of the Erie Canal. Lunch Spot TBD
Following lunch, if you’re staying in the area, we have options:
Returning to the Tonawanda area for dinner and overnight.
Registration fee is $100 per person
This fee covers the Canal Boat Museum admission, Sam Patch 2 hour canal boat ride, and the supper on Friday evening in Spencerport. Presently the dinner will be a buffet style meal. Drinks will be at your own expense.
