Time for Day 2 of our Agnelli Cup Go-Kart Series Dallas Karting Complex (2 races) 5025 FM 1565, Caddo Mills, TX Afternoon heat on a go kart track in the summer in Texas isn’t always fun, so we are meeting up to start the racing as soon as they open for business. 9:30AM: Meet up at Dallas Karting Complex 10:00AM: Move inside to go racing! Lunch after karting: (time determined by when we finish racing): Mi Cocina 971 E Interstate 30 Rockwall, TX After we all get signed in at the track, we will run our races. Length of time at the track depends on how many other racers are present. Costs: $30/race - (if we get 10 people sign up beforehand, we can get a discount) $4 head sock fee - Head sock is yours to keep so save it for the next Agnelli Cup Day! This fee is waived if you bring your own race approved helmet. $5 daily kart maintenance fee to cover maintenance Additional races in the series: Agnelli Cup Day 3 (2 races) - Nov 14, 2026 CURRENT STANDINGS: 1 - 20 pts - Jesus Robles 2 - 16 pts - Jeriel Robles 3 - 12 pts - Daniel Evans 4 - 8 pts - Taz 5 - 4 pts - Ko 1st-5th place winners in the overall series will recieve trophies (not plaques). It is not too late to join the Angelli Cup competition. $15 buys you a chance for a nice trophy if you finish in the top 5 of the standings. All trophies are still up for grabs, no one has a lock on any of them. Trophy or not, go-karting is just plain fun. Don’t worry if you’ve never done it before – most of us are fellow amateur karters! NOTE: Round 3 in November has changed from the 7th to the 14th. If you would like to join the chase for the Agnelli Cup, Venmo $15 to @Michael-Brenner-70 If Venmo asks you for a code, it’s 4418. The Italian CarFest is the largest Italian car show in north Texas. It is hosted by the City of Grapevine as a prelude event for their weeklong GrapeFest and organized by the Italian Car Club of North Texas. All Italian vehicles or vehicles with an Italian Connection are welcome. There permanent bathrooms on site. Food trucks and music will also be on hand. COST: Scooters, motorcylces: $20/vehicle Cars: $35/vehicle Spectators: FREE AWARDS: Owners vote on the various class awards and Best of Show. There is also a Mayor‘s Choice Award as well as a People‘s Choice Award (spectators vote). REGSITRATION THROUGH THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE‘S WEBSITE IS REQUIRED TO SHOW A CAR. Starting Mid-Afternoon Sept 18th, 2026. Running through the weekend and head home on Sunday the 20th. This year‘s host is Charlie Bates and his wife Julie. They have a setup a weekend of driving and events. Requesting a $25 registration fee to cover cost like printing and an event room the hotel is charging for. Many other expenses occur in running an event like F.U.N.. Please PayPal Charlie or contact him for other arrangements.

One of TWO meet-ups we‘re hosting this month as part of our version of Oktoberfest, we‘d like to invite you to join us for OktoberFIAT! This meet-up will be lunch at Mr. Dunderbak‘s Brewpub in Tampa. Please ensure your RSVP is accurate for this one... it‘s a very popular place and we want to make sure we are providing them with an accurate headcount for tables so we can be seated together. This meet-up will be lunch and decadent deserts at Yalaha German Bakery. Please ensure your RSVP is accurate as parking is limited as is space inside the bakery. Next to the bakery is an amazing Florida Moonshine Distillery!

The Italian American Club of Central Florida presents ITALIAN FESTIVAL UNDER THE STARS. The Lakeland Italian Festival "Under the Stars" is a new cultural celebration designed to bring together families, local businesses, and the broader community for an evening of authentic Italian heritage. Set outdoors underneath a beautifully lit night sky, the festival blends tradition, entertainment, and community pride into a signature annual event for Central Florida. Authentic Italian cuisine, live entertainment, cultural exhibits, craft artisans, and family activities will all be part of this event. The event‘s organizer has invited our chapter along with the Vespa Club to display our classic and contemporary vehicles as part of the event. All we have to do is show up! While the event starts at 5:00pm, there will be road closures and we‘ll want to make sure we are inside the perimeter before that happens. We‘ll also need a little bit of time to do any last-minute detailing of the cars so they present well at the festival. If you plan on attending this event, the RSVP process is as follows: 1. Send us a private message with the make, model, and year of your vehicle. 2. Tell us whether you are "all in" to attend or "tentative" (for any tentative attendees, please provide a reason why you are responding as such). ** WE MAY HAVE THE EVENT ORGANIZER ATTEND OUR SEPTEMBER CHAPTER MEETING TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL DETAILS.
